Journey

After a late start and a beach breakfast, we visited Sangatte Red Cross
Refugee Center and and spoke with Afghans who had fled the Taliban regime.

The explained how they infiltrated lorries before they enter the Eurostar
terminal. One was a university professor who would have been hanged if he
had stayed in Kabul.

We then headed off for the Eurostar terminal and tried to reach the
lorry loading area to take pictures.

After about 30 minutes of observation and videoing we were caught and
asked to leave the area. On our way out we encountered a maintenance team
fixing the fences.

We then walked to Calais Ville Gare and said our goodbyes.

Conclusion.

Would be fairly simple to arrive at loading area in the dark undetected.

Trains arriving and departing from this area are travelling very slow.

Fences easy to climb over on way in, but difficult on way out.
