1.Concept and content 

To create and publish a guide to crossing european national borders
without paper authorisation (passport)

The guide will give example routes, descriptions of equipment required and
fully explain techniques used to cross without detection.

All borders will be actually crossed and documentation produced.

2.Communication aims - who is your target audience / viewer / participant?

In the uk we currently have legislation which can be used to prevent
free travel - the football supporters act. This will soon be extended
to anybody of an activist nature who intends to travel to a demonstration.
Basically, protestors will have their passports removed.

This project could be seen as a protest against such legislation, but will
also provide concrete information for people wishing to travel that could
not otherwise eg: activists, asylum seekers, eastern europeans without
visas.

The issues surrounding information borders concerning migration will
also be explored eg schengen system

The target audience will be quite general european.


4.Production details and time line of process

6 months to cross 20 european borders.

3 months to complete final publication of guide.

I will need a minimum of equipment, perhaps outdor clothes, 
navigation equipment and documentation tools. Some borders
may require more resources to cross ie english channel

I intend to cross 1 border every 3 days with several days break between
