Intimacy Encryption Workshop.

Participants: 6-100 (optimum 20)
Duration: about 90min
In an age of pervasive surveillance and persecution of truth
tellers (eg: artists, journalists), achieving both personal
and collective privacy requires some radical methods.
Intimacy Encryption Workshop trains people in how to communicate
securely face-to-face or over any media using nothing more than
an ability to create intimacy with others.
WORKSHOP BREAKDOWN:
PART I: How it is possible to speak in public or write over
electronic media without others being able to understand what
is being communicated ? Heath will explain the definition of
spoken and written encryption, the technique relies on the
sender and receiver possessing unique knowledge which they can
refer to when exchanging messages. This unique knowledge is a
form of intimacy and is easily created by spending some alone
time together.
PART II: Then, each participant will pair up with people not
previously known to them. The pairs then go off for 30 minutes
to privately either exchange information they have never
shared with other people before or by creating new situations
to base new knowledge upon. For example, a pair can go for a
walk and talk about things they see along the way that
interest them.
PART III: On return, each pair is tasked with communicating a
given word between them in front of the other workshop
participants, without the audience being able to guess the
word, by referring to their newly created code dictionary,
consisting of everything the pair now have uniquely in common.
