One such struggle is now taking place in the English language. The english language and consequently its users are highly infected with conceptual viruses. Each virus can be detected via symtoms. In general the more highly infected a host is the less they will be directly engaged with reality. It is our project to detect, catologue and evetually destroy the main conceptual viruses. These conceptual viruses are mostly generated by the capitalists, as an infected population is a weak one. Some are self generating. All are spread via the media. Watching television is the highest risk activity. This can be done, I beleive, by presenting them with the familar and acceptable, but which is slightly altered. If art is to be affective in a revoltionary culture then it too must be revolutionary. I have noticed in myself and others a need to categorise the new and asimilated it with existing knowledge. Once people understand they can put it out of their mind. A protection against this is adopt dis-information. Works can be made that can not be totally digested due to their contradictory form. Thus keeping them present in peoples minds for longer. I have observed that if a peice of work is too extreme potential observers don't even notice it. It just does not exist. The most noticed work has been the familiar which has been only slightly changed, thus allowing it to pass through the filter stage almost un-noticed. -- Virus Right wing concept of virus : hostile alien invader. No right wing philosophy has yet found a cure for viruses. This is because right-wing thought is the major generator of viruses, not the destructor. Medical viruses are produced in the body, through the action of external factors, in the same way. that computer viruses are produced in the computer, by an exteral agent. The computer hacker, the terrorist and the criminal are all generated by society. The usual right-wing response is to cut them out. Cold weather, hunger, alienation, sexual repression induce illnesses such as gall stones, tumas, acne, syphilis, anorexia, aids.
