Overture: Carrying Power

It was an attempt to move a potato mountain (350kg) by Deliveroo.
14 Deliveroo Riders participated in the experiment; they collectively moved all the potato sacks from point A to B in The Hague (about 1.1km) in 17min.
The average wage of a Rider was €38.30.

Overture: Carrying Power was officially endorsed by Deliveroo NL; they sent out a newsletter to all the Riders in the region.
Riders were recruited via the street, WhatsApp groups of The Hague Deliveroo Riders, and the official newsletter by Deliveroo NL.
The project took place from 15:00 on 22nd September 2018, in front of The Grey Space in the Middle as part of TodaysArt festival 2018.
The project was realised as part of a residency at The Grey Space in the Middle, co-funded by Creative Industries Fund NL and The Central Innovation District The Hague.
