Text-to-Net
Texting a question to people in front of the computer to get the answer
Answering a question from people outside in trouble by searching on the Internet at home
Not sure of the best train connection?, but there is no one around you can ask?
Want to ask that to Google but don't have a smartphone?
Don't worry, you can still have the Internet access on your crap phone, just text your question to our number and get
the answer immediately!
Are those who are always sitting in front of the comuputer useless? No, they are not!
They are always on standby for you. If you are in trouble outside, you can always rely on them, asking them any question
for example "What time is the next train from Mossley Hill to Liverpool Lime Street station?"
Text-to-Net is a system which connects people always actively moving around outside and those always sitting in front of
the computer at home. When you are on the Internet, what you always do is to keep searching, searching and searching...
So why not do the search for someone in trouble sometimes? Once you save those actively moving around outside, they won't
be able to blame you anymore for sitting at the computer all the time!

How the system works
Steps:
- Sending a text to the system mobile phone numbe asking a simple question you can easily find the answer for if you have the Internet
- The system receives the text and converts the sms into an email
- The email is sent through the people on the text-to-net mailing list
- The people on the mailing list search for the answer on the Internet and send the answer back to the system email address
- The first answer received by the system is automatically sent back to the original sender
::::update
The whole system was rewritten in Python by Juamps/Juan Pablo de la Vega
and was used for one of the rehabilitation execises of Database Addiction project by Yoha (Graham Harwood and Matsuko Yokokoji).
